co-host Whoopi Goldberg expressed profound concern over actions taken by President Donald Trump and entrepreneur Elon Musk, 

asserting that their decisions are contributing to national division. 

Goldberg’s remarks were particularly focused on Musk’s threats to “raid federal agencies” and dismiss federal employees, including FBI agents. 

She emphasized the unsettling nature of an unelected individual wielding such influence over government operations. 

Goldberg questioned the qualifications of potential replacements for the dismissed federal employees, 

expressing apprehension about the future efficacy of agencies like the FBI and CIA. She also voiced doubts regarding Tulsi Gabbard, President Trump’s nominee for Director of National Intelligence, citing concerns about her suitability for the role. 

Reflecting on her six decades of observing political developments, Goldberg noted that she had “never seen the Republicans ever act in this fashion.” She criticized the party for allowing the country to be “torn apart,” expressing that the current situation is “freaking me the hell out.”
